I'll spare you all those dumb headlines I've seen lately. Give the man a chance - California is f---ed up already anyway. Ronald Reagan did as awesome job as governor of California and I don't think Jesse Ventura messed up Minnesota that bad during his term... not as badly as Gray Davis f---ed up California, anyway. Arnold did a good job in the last elections with his after school program thing.
I was wondering why Richard Riordan wasn't the Republican candidate for the elections last year and one of my friends from high school told me that the Davis campaign threw lots of money to Bill Simon in the primaries. When Arnold was thinking of running last time, the Davis campaign leaked some stories to the newspapers alleging Arnold had some extramarital affairs. Get ready for some dirty campaigning... The man should spend less time trying to save his job and more time doing his job! Besides, Democrats should have nothing to say about womanizing... *ahem* Clinton??
My old boss Mona, Ms. #1 Democrat, was at Gray Davis's inauguration ceremony when he was first elected governor. Now she hates the man. And what happened to that thing about Democrats sticking behind their man and not putting up another candidate? They can't say that the Republicans are trying to steal the office because other prominent Democrats (the real politicians, not Larry Flynt, Gary Coleman) are running now too.
If Arnold wins, I'm going back to school - a California public university - to get my MBA or whatever. "Lucy, why did you get your MBA?" "Because I wanted Arnold's signature on my degree." I finally bought a frame for my UCLA degree - one of those floating frames - and it has Gray Davis's signature on it. The only way to distinguish my degree from any other UC is Albert Carnesale's signature. Otherwise, coulda gone anywhere else and gotten the same looking degree (not to be elitist or anything, I just love UCLA and I worked hard for the BA).
