My last day of the holiday weekend and I spend it sleeping because I'm sick. Dante has been sick the last two weeks and I've been fine but then I go home for Thanksgiving and my brother gets me sick in the 4 hours I was home that day. I have a ton of cleaning to do and I have to buy a vacuum and I have to do laundry but this has been the most unproductive weekend in a long time.

At least I didn't waste the entire weekend... I've decided what direction I'm gonna take in terms of my career. Law school or any kind of grad school is gonna be another 2-3 years of pain and suffering so I decided I might as well study my ass off for the next 6 months and take my CPA exam, get certified and move on from there. Its gonna be hard though - I haven't picked up a book and studied since December 2000. Oh well, I need to do something with my life.

Here's something to ponder... how badly are my football teams gonna get their asses whooped this weekend?? UCLA is playing USC and the Raiders are playing the KC Chiefs... USC is trying to get into the championship game and KC is mad because they lost their first game of the season last week. I don't hate KC though - they have the cutest team in the league (Tony Gonzalez, Johnnie Morton and Trent Green) and if I wasn't a Raiders fan, thats usually who I would root for. Yes, I know Tony Gonzalez was a Bear and Johnnie Morton was a Trojan and I hated them in college, like a good Bruin had to.
My friend sent me one of those "inspirational" emails:

When things in your life seem almost too much to handle, when 24 hours in a day are not enough, when you just HAVE TO get that next task done, remember the mayonnaise jar........and the beer!

A professor stood before his philosophy class and had some items in front of him. When the class began, wordlessly, he picked up a very large and empty mayonnaise jar and proceeded to fill it with golf balls. He then asked the students if the jar was full. They agreed that it was. So the professor then picked up a box of pebbles and poured them into the jar. He shook the jar lightly. The pebbles rolled into the open areas between the golf balls. He then asked the students again if the jar was full. They agreed it was. The professor next picked up a box of sand and poured it into the jar. Of course, the sand filled up everything else. He asked once more if the jar was full. The students responded with an unanimous "yes." The professor then produced two cans of beer from under the table and poured the entire contents into the jar, effectively filling the empty space between the sand. The students laughed. "Now," said the professor, as the laughter subsided, "I want you recognize that this jar represents your life. The golf balls are important things--your family, your children, your health, your friends, your favorite passions--things that if everything else was lost and only they remained, your life would still be full. The pebbles are the other things that matter like your job, your house, your car. The sand is everything else--the small stuff. If you put the sand into the jar first," he continued, "there is no room for the pebbles or the golf balls. The same goes for life. If you spend all your time and energy on the small stuff, you will never have room for the things that are important to you. Pay attention to the things that are critical to your happiness. Play with your children. Take time to get medical checkups. Take your partner out to dinner. Play another 18. There will always be time to clean the house, and fix the disposal. Take care of the golf balls first, the things that really matter. Set your priorities. The rest is just sand." One of the students raised her hand and inquired what the beer represented. The professor smiled. "I'm glad you asked. It just goes to show you that no matter how full your life may seem, there's always room for a couple of beers."

Enough inspirational crap. These Demotivators are awesome! Check out their collection. I love Procrastination, Stupidity, Mediocrity, Failure, Humiliation, Risks, Goals, and Potential... they're all good though. Man, my attitude sucks. I make a terrible employee.

I updated my 100 things about me. Mostly just the same crap though so don't expect anything major.

I feel like something has been taken away from me, I feel so lost and alone. Dante borrowed my Justified CD today and I don't know what to listen to now. I have 6 CDs in my CD changer and I don't like anything as much as I liked that CD. Steph gave me the CD so many months ago and thats all I've listened to in my car since. Tyrese, Nick Lachey, Justin Guarini, 80s music and some mixed CDs don't cut it like Justin Timberlake does. He offered me his Jay-Z The Black Album but I'm still suffering from Justin withdrawal. I guess I deserve this though - I've been telling Dante how good Justified was and he's been ridiculing me about it for so long. He borrowed my car this morning to go to court in Lancaster (his new used BMW is in the shop because he scratched it up backing it into our parking space while trying to look cute for some girl yesterday - serves him right) and I guess he listened to that CD the whole way there and the whole way back. He had other CDs in my changer but apparently Justified was that good. He's embarassed he likes it, but its not as bad as him dubbing my Justin Guarini CD. :)

If this is true - Britney mocks Justin's size - then I lost all the sympathy I had for Britney Spears she gained from crying on PrimeTime Live last week.

Big PHEW on 24. I hope.

TIP: Never eat Berry Blue Jell-O at 3am... no matter how much you're craving it. You'll wake up with a stomachache so bad even a good #2 won't help. Maybe thats just me.

We hear the playback and it seems so long ago 80's lyrics quiz!! I found a link to this on jozjozjoz.com... I had to post this tonight so Steph would have something to do first thing in the morning. :)

Baron Davis was on MTV Cribs tonight... his house is just ok, but I think that's because he lives in New Orleans and that's what the houses look like there.
I finally found another American Eagle Sheer T I like. They had awesome ones earlier this year but their shirts have sucked recently. I don't know what happened to my favorite shirt - the light pink Philly Chinatown sheer T. I still think Dante accidentally took it when he was sorting my laundry from his (before he moved in again) but he says he didn't. I wouldn't be pissed if I could go back to American Eagle and buy another one to replace it but they don't have it anymore. :( I don't even think the Westside Pavilion one had it in the first place because I bought it at the Main Place store in Santa Ana.

I want to go to American Eagle at lunch today but I have to go home so I can TiVo Oprah... she's going to Costco for the first time. Can you believe that? Being so rich you've never been to Costco or Target?? I've always said, if I win the lotto, I'd be the same person, except with a house and a nicer car. I'd still work (except I wouldn't have the pressure of earning a living so I can do whatever I feel like doing), I'd still clip coupons (and I'd still forget to use them), I'd still head to the discount racks at whatever clothing stores... Didn't Oprah have to save at one time in her life? She's a self made millionaire (billionaire) so its not like she had everything handed to her.

Arnold's inauguration better be on time because I set TiVo for 11am.

I found another cute music video boy but I like my first music video boy better. Its the Lumidee feat. Busta Rhymes and Fabolous - Never Leave You video. The boy isn't as cute as the first music video boy but there's just something about him. Nick Cannon is hot too :).

Who wants to go see Elf with me?? I love Will Ferrell and that movie beat the Matrix and Russell Crowe's new movie. Last week, Jon Stewart was already calling it the #1 movie in the country because "The Matrix blowwwws". Will was on TRL too and they asked him what he thought about having to wear tights around NY for an entire movie. He said something like "when you have a body like this, you gotta."

Scrubs is the funniest show ever - Carla found out her brother did speak English and she asked him, "did you hear me talking about being on the pill?" He said no and she said, "I was just kidding. I'm not on the pill. I've never had sex. I hope it's fun!"

Holy Shit that was a good episode of 24!! TiVo paid off majorly for me tonight because I had all these distractions around my apartment and normally I woulda gotten annoyed because I would have had to wait until the DVD came out to watch it again, but because of TiVo, I just paused, rewound, watched from the beginning, fast forwarded through the commercials, and finished the episode at 11:15. I love my TiVo.

There were two major OH SHIT moments during the episode. So goooood!!! The second OH SHIT moment got me depressed but its just 24 being 24. You NEVER know whats gonna happen.

I got a new TV this weekend to go along with my TiVo - its a flat screen one from Costco and I've just been watching regular cable TV so far. I just put in the True Lies DVD and the quality is AMAZING! My old TV sucked ass. Whenever I watched Laker games, I couldn't see the score on the bottom of the screen. I get this new TV and I realize the score is a freakin inch above the bottom of the screen.

Heehee, this is great - I can watch an entire hour of Passions in 15 minutes... by fast forwarding though all the crappy scenes. Wait a sec - Why is it even taking me 15 minutes?? There is a huge difference in quality between the three soaps I watch sometimes. All My Children is the best, with real actors and shit. Days is ok, but it takes a while to move story lines along. Passions is totally crap. Yeah, I don't know why I watch it. I'm watching yesterday's episode of the Daily Show right now and I'm cracking up over Stephen Colbert's correspondent report. He's "in England" reporting on the Prince Charles scandal and he says slander laws prevent him from saying what he found out but he's using hand gestures and he just took a huge bite of a banana :).

I like this assistant so far. He instant messages me when he has questions and that just saves us so much time and hassle. I think this is the first time I've ever used AIM for work purposes and its great. Eileen is on AIM too but we only use it to say things we don't want anyone else to hear. Stan already complains that we talk too much in our office.

Will Ferrell is eating a banana now!!! Oh my god, I love the Daily Show.

From Justin to Lawsuit - $100,000 for a rear-ender?? Some people are just so freakin greedy and they don't want to work for their money. They have so much nerve! Poor Justin Guarini, can't seem to stay out of trouble...

The new guy started today... he seems pretty good so far. Not butt ugly either. He had the same last name as this ugly fat gross guy who liked me in junior high and all I can say is, phew. He knows English! Whoohoo! Never take that for granted - an assistant who can speak/write English.

TIVO BABY!!! I've finally joined the cult after talking about getting one for so long! (Nozomi says I've been talking about it for YEARS but I don't think its been that long.)

As with everything in my life, it was harder for me to set up the TiVo than it is for 'normal' people. First off, I don't have a phone line at home so I didn't think I could even get it in the first place, but I mentioned that to Steph, she said her co-worker had TiVo and she didn't have an apartment line - you use this USB network thing to connect TiVo through your cable modem (which I have). I called TiVo support yesterday after I bought it and they told me I'd have to pay an extra $99 to use the network connection... they're so full of shit... the web site says you don't need to buy that option. (I haven't tried it yet to see if what I did works). I had to go to Amy's apartment last night to do the initial set-up using her phone line and I couldn't disconnect that thing for 4-8 hours so I just left it there and picked it up this morning. I played with it a little this morning too - by now, TiVo shoulda taped The Daily Show (repeat) and when I get home, All My Children, Days and Passions shoulda been taped. (Not that I'm gonna watch all those crappy soaps, I just like having the option to).

Lakers game tonight - forgot to have TiVo tape it but thats ok - I get off work at 6:00 and I get home at 6:05 so the only thing I might miss is a couple of starting introductions. I can't wait to use my Live TV replay when I watch the game! New Orleans is my second favorite team - I love Baron Davis but I gotta root against him tonight. So glad he's doing well in the NBA.

I'm glad it rained yesterday because I was feeling jipped from Friday. I had my car parked in my spot at the apartment and when I went to my car on Sunday, half the car was spotless clean (from the rain) and the other half was dirty (I don't have any awning, etc... the building covers half my car). On Sunday night, the building next door to me ran their sprinklers or something so when I got to my car Monday morning, a quarter of my car was wet, so that left me with only a quarter of my car completely spotless clean :). I need to clean out my car anyway. My mom was gonna get me a new TV last weekend when we went to Costco but she said I needed to clean out my car first so we can fit the TV in there. Yes, I am a spoiled brat.

I'm not looking for a new car because I love mine but Dante saw this last week on recycler.com - a 2001 Mercedes-Benz CLK 55 AMG on sale for $15,000... It's silver (the best color ever!), it has a clean title, 30,000 miles, excellent condition, fully loaded, etc... AMGs are amazing and this car brand new would go for more than $60,000. He decided to call the guy about it yesterday to ask him why he was selling it so cheap and the guy told him it was sold already but it was so cheap because he just inherited $290 million and he needed to give this car away. My lease on my Audi is up next year and I woulda done whatever I had to to get this car if Dante had told me about it earlier. (If all else fails... Mommy!! :)) No one in our family ever buys used cars though but my Audi wasn't new when I got it - I just took over my sister's lease because she leased a BMW X5. She was paying both payments and the Audi was just sitting in the garage. I hate leases because you're paying all that money for a car you'll have to give back in a couple years and you're limited on what you can do with it (mileage wise, etc). I would love to keep my current car after this lease though, if I can afford to. At the very least, I coulda bought that CLK from the guy and sold it for twice what I paid and I could use the profit to pay off the Audi and everyone woulda been happy! :) Oh well.

This is a prime example of how the rich get richer. One of my clients has been directing a couple of episodes of a sitcom this season. The star of the sitcom has been sick for 7-8 days and the DGA stipulates a per diem of $3,500 a day... that means my client gets $28,000 PLUS the $25,000 directing fees. Must be nice.

Alright. Who wants to run in the next marathon with me?? Yeah, stop laughing. Isn't running a marathon one of those life changing events? If you can run a marathon, you can do anything in your life. Is that true or have I been watching too much "inspirational" TV? Diddy is doing it, I think Ozzy did it last season, Oprah did it...

On second thought, I don't think I'll do able to run the 26 miles... I can't even get my ass to the gym :) heehee.

Steve - I'm serious about the skydiving though... Let me know where/when and I'll do it!
I don't think I'm going to the gym tonight... just watching P. Diddy train for his marathon on MTV while eating my Taco Bell is making me exhausted. Say what you want about the man, but he's hard working and successful.
BULLETIN: I'm getting closer to going to the gym. I was going to go the last two nights but it hasn't worked out. Tuesday night I finished watching the game and it was too late... last night I just fell asleep after the OC. My New Years Resolution totally went to waste - don't ask me why I couldn't keep it (going to the gym at least once a month). I think I'll go tonight (for the first time since June I think) because sweeps month is starting on Saturday. I'm planning 10pm because of Friends and Scrubs. Why did they stick Will & Grace in between those two shows?? Just drags out the night. Oh - and for those of you who missed it, they're replaying 24 at 9pm. (Usually Eileen and I check the listings sometime in the afternoon but we're super bored today). I lost my 24 Hour Fitness card though... I wonder if I can just have them mail me a new one.

Sex and the City 8:30p repeat was exactly what I was talking about yesterday - letting someone help you out. It really is wonderful to not have to do everything yourself but no one is as dependable as yourself. Carrie got mad at Aidan because he BOUGHT her a new computer after hers crashed. I think Carrie has problems but I see her point there... she's so used to depending on herself that she doesn't want anyone else's help because what happens when you start depending on them and they can't be there for you or the relationship breaks apart?

I need a boyfriend like Jon Stewart. He's on the cover of Entertainment Weekly this week (I 'borrowed' it from the receptionist area last night). He's smart, funny, hard-working; he knows what's going on; he can talk politics and pop culture... and he's cute enough. This is the exact line from the article: ... the kind of guy who's smarter than you but doesn't rub it in your face; the kind of guy who drops references to Wilford Brimley and The Breakfast Club into conversation, yet talks intelligently with Henry Kissinger; and the kind of guy who's become the media elite's It Boy, but still identifies with Revenge of the Nerds. I know plenty of smart guys who just don't 'get it', and I know dumb guys who are... just dumb. :)

All these superstars on the Lakers and my favorite one is... Rick Fox! Just like me to go with the pretty boy. Will that be the starting 5 when Rick comes back from his injury?? The game was fun to watch but I missed the part where Kobe came out to the bench at the end of the 3rd quarter because I was watching 24. I never thought I'd like Karl Malone but I was so happy to see him get a standing ovation when he left the game in the 4th quarter. Gary Payton got one too (deservedly).

Supposedly Shaq and Kobe are cool now. Last season it was Rick and Derek who took it upon themselves to keep peace on the team but now they have Karl and Gary to help. If I were Rick or Derek, I'd feel so relieved that it wasn't on my shoulder to keep the team together. It always helps to distribute the work around, especially when you have two other superstars taking on the brunt of the work. Shaq and Kobe might not listen to you but they HAVE to listen to Karl and Gary. I'm so used to doing everything by myself in my life that when I do get help, I appreciate it so much more... like doing laundry or going grocery shopping with Dante - so nice to have someone else carry the heavy stuff :). My parents don't know English too well so I'm usually stuck trying to translate (so tough, especially cause I barely know Taiwanese) but when my siblings are around, I feel better because the pressure is taken off me.

This is my first time watching 24 during the season and I can't believe I have to wait a whole week til the next hour!! Awww - Tony and Michelle are married :)... they make such a cute couple. Tony is my favorite guy on that show. And the bad guy so far this season (Salazar) is the guy in Only You (Marisa Tomei and Robert Downey Jr.) who was trying to get with Bonnie Hunt. I've watched that movie way too many times! Anyways, season looks good but I'm trying to figure out what next year's plot will be - they've already covered assassination, nuclear bomb and bio-weapons...

The Sex and the City rerun on right now is about defining relationships! This is the episode where Miranda's boyfriend pees in front of her and Samantha first meets her lesbian lover. Charlotte is trying to define her relationship with her estranged husband/boyfriend/lover and Carrie is hanging out with Mr. Big again. I think thats what my relationship with Dante is like - Carrie and Mr. Big. We're not boyfriend/girlfriend anymore ... we're friends who have fun hanging out together but because of our past, we're more than friends (?). I don't even know. The relationship is undefinable. Oh - and you guys are gonna kick my ass (I deserve it) but he's moved in again. Don't know how long its gonna last this time but this is the last time I (sorta) promise!

Oooh! The last line of the episode - "So thats it. What ultimately defines a relationship is another relationship." A lot to think about. I think that if I find another guy I really like, Dante would be out of my life. I told him that once too... "I've always thought that if I start dating someone else, they'd have to get used to you having a big part in my life. But, I started thinking - if I date Justin Guarini, he's so lighthearted and easy going, I wouldn't want to hurt him like that. I probably couldn't talk to you anymore." This was after I watched American Idol 1 the Bonus Disc - A Day in the Life of Justin - and he seems so goofy... that gets me every single time. Of course this led to Dante making fun of me and telling my friends I said that, but still!
ESPN.com - 'Passing' comment restarts Shaq-Kobe feud - oh give me a break! It's probably the media making too much of nothing, but if there was really a feud, I'd probably take Shaq's side - his personality definitely makes him more likeable.

The first game of the season is Tuesday night... I'll watch the first hour and a half but after that, I'm out. I hope Dante isn't around Tuesday night because he'll want to finish the game but it's my TV, my choice. The 24 season 3 premiere is on (without commercial interruption) and I'm not gonna miss that! Someone tape it for me just in case, please :). Thats what I hate about digital cable - you can't watch one thing and tape another.

Saturday, October 25, 2003

Oh my god, yesterday was my one-year anniversary for this journal! Being a true Gemini, I hardly ever stick to anything that long. Yay me.

And yay, extra hour tonight so I can finish an extra hour of 24. I should be done with Season 2 tonight.
I can't believe I just wasted a couple hours watching The OC marathon on FX. Why am I hooked on this show?? There are so many things that annoy me about it and the actors aren't that great or good looking. I have so much cleaning to do too! Oh well.
I had a total Office Space moment yesterday - "Umm, I'm going to need you to go ahead and come in tomorrow..." He might have even had a coffee cup in his hand, I don't remember.

So here I am at this crappy office on Saturday. I don't mind though because I need the overtime.

Oh - by the way, dumb assistant left a week ago because she said she had a long commute and she wasn't learning anything here... boohooo. If she had an IQ above 10, we coulda taught her something. Eileen was the one giving her all the work. I do everything myself because I need things done perfect. If I do assign her anything, she'd give me the work with a ton of spelling errors and a messy layout. The assistant's job is basically deposits (the thing she fucks up the least on), disbursements (paying the bills - sometimes she can't distinguish between business and personal expenses and she pays them from the wrong account), bank reconciliations (oh my god, let me tell you how many times she messes these things up!! she's messed up the software for a couple clients), some financial statements (I redo them because of all the spelling errors and messy layouts) and filing (she can't even do this right). Add this to the fact she was always sick or late. Stan always took up for her though - she's sick, she's got some stomach problems (we think its all in her head) - and he gets on our case for little shit (being 10 minutes late, etc). Eileen and I are glad she's gone and we don't have to deal with a liability in the office.

So I go over to the assistant's desk to see what needs to be done. She didn't do the investment statements filing for the last two months!! And she kept asking us for work to do because she "had nothing to do"!! She made no secret of the fact she hated filing, but that's what I had to do when I had her position and that's what Asher did when he had that position and you never heard either of us complaining. Duh, who the hell LIKES filing?? It's part of the job when you don't have experience. There were so many times she came to me and she told me she couldn't find a file, and I look where she was looking and I pull up the file instantly. She doesn't file chronologically either and sometimes she'd just stick the papers for a whole bunch of clients into one file.

My knees are still bruised from 3 weeks ago when I tripped and fell (stupid shoes!! the price of fashion) so everytime I kneel down to get to a low filing drawer, I'm in pain. Oh well. I need to get new shoes though. I've almost fell a couple times since then.

4 more hours of 24 to go!

Friday, October 24, 2003

Speed was on the other night and I watched about 3 minutes of it before I had to turn it off. I loved that movie so much when I was in high school but there is no comparison to 24. I was comfortable in bed already and I didn't want to get up so I was flipping channels and Speed was the only decent thing on. It bothered me so much that I got out of bed to find my DVD player remote so I could finish another hour of 24. (I have 8 more hours to go!) I thought Keanu Reeves was the cutest thing ever back then but now I prefer Kiefer Sutherland to Keanu. This one episode actually had me crying! TV never does that to me.

It was nice to see Kobe back on the court last night but his legs are like toothpicks now. He is s-k-i-n-n-y!!!Understandable though... I am 99% sure he'll be acquitted but you never know what will happen. Sometimes even when I am 100% sure about an answer and someone starts questioning me about it, I start to get doubts. This is his life at stake too, not some stupid test that has no bearing on your life in a year or two.

So much has happened this week at the office. A couple months ago, a client called and said she thought one of her employees (W) was stealing money from her (when W bought toys for the client's kids on the client's credit card, she'd also pick up a couple things for her own kids and charge it to the card). (See the August 25th entry) We thought we got that resolved back then, and the client kept W as an employee, don't know why. W has a sister (M) who has worked for the client for a couple years and who the client absolutely adores. The client hired W and M's husband because of M. M is a maid and she makes more than 1.5 x my salary. (She barely speaks English and she makes more than me!!) M has a charge card in her name so she can purchase groceries for the house, toys for the kids, etc. The client set up this thing for M so that if the client dies, M gets $15,000/yr to take care of the client's dog. M is substitute trustee on the client's will if the client's brother dies. We thought M was the good sis. :)... you can see where this is going.

The client calls us on Monday and says $20,000 cash is missing from her safe and she thinks it might be M. We agree we need proof before we can do anything. Oh yeah, and last week M requested 2 months advance salary so she can put money down on a new house. We gave her the check on Friday (before everything happened) and I guess it was too late for her to cash it at the bank. (Why you would cash a check that large instead of depositing the check in your bank account is beyond me). The client asked Eileen to stall M from cashing the check because she wanted to be sure and she didn't want M to get suspicious. The nanny cam is set up that day. On Tuesday, the client calls and says she caught M stealing from the safe on the nanny cam. Apparently, the client wrote down her safe combination somewhere and M somehow found it. The client called the cops and they're gonna arrest her on Thursday (Eileen and I were sitting by, waiting for the action, and we were mad that they were waiting that long). All day Tuesday and Wednesday, M is calling Eileen every hour to ask when she can cash her check because she really needs the money and Eileen comes up with bullshit stories like there is no money in the account, we're switching banks, we're just gonna wire the money into your account, the messenger will give you the cash instead... I swear, we got new relevations everyday. Eileen figured M really didn't buy a house because M kept coming up with bullshit excuses why she couldn't fax over the escrow papers. Then, the client's brother says his stepson told him he saw M and her husband smoking crack behind the house (I don't know how long ago that was). We think they need that money for drugs and because I watch too much TV/movies, I came up with: M needs the money to pay off a drug dealer before a certain deadline or the drug dealer is gonna have her killed. When Eileen was analyzing the checks that M wrote (the client took away M's credit card after W was caught stealing and she added M to a household checking account), she realized Wednesday was M's birthday. Maybe thats why the client wanted to wait til Thursday for M to be arrested. Eileen and I didn't do any work on Thursday because we were waiting til 5:00 hit because thats when the detective was gonna show up. Eileen and the nephew were supposed to make sure M was at the house then. Eileen was trying to figure out why M didn't call her to bug her about the check at all Thursday. M waited an hour to call Eileen back too. 5:00 came and we didn't hear anything from the house... at 7:00, the client's personal assistant calls Eileen and tells her nothing happened. M confessed, said she was sending the money to her dad in Guatemala, etc and the personal assistant was supposed to take M to the police station the next day because the client didn't want to have M arrested in front of her kids. We were disappointed - we wanted more action! M was even spending the night at the client's place. I don't know about the client, but I would not feel comfortable sleeping in a house with a thief. Today we find out that M found a copy of the police report that day and she called the police earlier on Thursday telling them that the nephew had a gun and was threatening her (which was total bullshit). The Malibu police were over there and I guess they determined nothing happened. I don't know why the client didn't know the police were over there until this morning but when she found out, she had the cops come arrest M right away... forget not wanting to do it in front of the kids. The client now thinks that M stole some of her (dead) mother's jewelry also. Geez!

I Love the 80's Strikes Back is on. I don't know how this is different from I Love the 80s though, just new material. Nick Lachey is a comment-er! Did his album ever come out?? I should buy it just to support him because I feel sorry for him. Anyways, I love this show! I never watched I Love the 70s because I don't know anything about that era and I wouldn't be able to relate. They're talking about Field of Dreams right now - "If you build it, they will come." Our high school went through a whole Kevin Costner phase because he's a VPHS alum. I had a some football coach/health teacher who would just bring in Kevin Costner movies when he didn't have any material planned (which was often) and then he would point out some short bald chubby white extra in all the movies and say that was him.

Richard Marx!! Heehee, "Right Here Waiting". Oh my god, I love this show.
