Heehee, Clay is singing that "hello, is it you I'm looking for" song... I remember that from one of my favorite Seinfeld episodes - "The Voice" where Jerry was trying to decide between using this "Helllllllllll-oooo" voice or this girl and he's sitting on the pier thinking while the song is playing in the background... then he decides, he runs and the birds are flying, he knocks on her door and she opens it waiting for his decision... "Helllllllllll-oooo!"
